Holland Occupational Theme
Holland code test is one of the most popular model used for career test today.
This test is developed by American psychologist John. L .holland in the 1970.
According to John Holland
"The choice of a vocation or profession is an expression of personality or interest"
Dr Holland reasons that people work best in work environment that matches their Prefrences or Interest .
This theory is centred on the notion that most people fit into one of six personality types;-
Differential Aptitude Test (DAT)
Differential Aptitude Test for
Personality and Career assessment.
DAT is used for quick and reliable measure for a specific aptitude related to successful job, performance across many occupations .
DAT is used to measure any combination of Verbal,Abstract, Mechanical, Special and Creative ability.
DAT predict success in the training program and overall job performance.
It can take anywhere from 12 to 20 minutes to complete ( test ). This tool is used in a recruitment and career guidance context.
Briggs Type Indicator
The Briggs type indicator is an introspective self report. The purpose of indicating different psychological preference in how people perceive the world around them and make decisions.
