Cardiac Care Technicians assist surgeons or physicians in conducting various tests on patients suffering from cardiac or heart-related problems. These tests include echocardiogram (ECG), electrocardiogram (EKG), stress testing, or other cardiovascular tests to record activity of the patient's' heart.


Career Track By Pathway 1

Class 10 with any subjects, Science and Mathematics – CTS Level 5 Training for ‘Technician Medical Electronics’ or related courses - Diploma in ‘Cardiac Care Technology’ or similar.



After completing Class 10 with any subjects, Science and Mathematics, you can go for Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) Level 5 course for ‘Technician Medical Electronics’ or related disciplines. This is a 2-year course with 4 semesters of 6 months each. Then you can go for a Diploma in ‘Cardiac Care Technology’, ‘Cardiac and Critical Care Technician’, ‘Cardiology Technician’, ‘Cardiac Laboratory Technology’ or similar disciplines.


Career Track By Pathway 2

Class 10 with any subjects, Science and Mathematics – MES course for ‘Basic of Anatomy & Physiology’ or similar - MES course for ‘Laboratory Assistant’ or similar - MES course for ‘Laboratory Technician’ or similar.



After completing Class 10 with any subjects, Science and Mathematics, you can go for a Modular Employable Skills (MES) course for ‘Basic of Anatomy & Physiology’ or similar based on Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS) framework under the Ministry of Labour and Employment of India. Then go for Modular Employable Skills (MES) course for ‘Laboratory Assistant’ or similar based on Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS) framework under the Ministry of Labour and Employment of India. Then go for Modular Employable Skills (MES) course for ‘Laboratory Technician’ or similar based on Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS) framework under the Ministry of Labour and Employment of India. You have to do 2 basic courses as mentioned in order to be eligible for this 3rd course.


Career Track By Pathway 3

Class 10 with any subjects, Science and Mathematics – Class 11-12 in Science stream with any subjects - Diploma in ‘Cardiac Care Technology’ or similar.



After completing Class 10 with any subjects, Science and Mathematics then Class 11-12 in Science stream with any subjects, you can go for a Diploma in ‘Cardiac Care Technology’, ‘Cardiac and Critical Care Technician’, ‘Cardiology Technician’, ‘Cardiac Laboratory Technology’ or similar disciplines.
