MEDHAVI NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME - SWAWLAMBAN

General Information

MEDHAVI national scholarship scheme invites application for the SWAWLAMBAN‐2018 scholarship examination. Under this exam scholarships will be awarded on MERIT base only to candidates who qualify prescribed exam

A step forward with an objective of Digital‐INDIA, the organization has come up with an idea of new era online exam. This online exam system is going to benefit candidates in many ways. The exam will be conducted online, unlike other online exam; it can be accessed from any location having internet connection like PC & laptops at home, cyber café.




388 Candidate will be awarded Rs.5000/‐ (Type A) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months; 324 Candidates will be awarded Rs.2500/‐ (Type B) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months; 227 candidate will be awarded with Rs.1000/‐ (Type C) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months; and 436 candidates will be awarded Rs.500/‐ (Type D) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months subject to merit list & number of application received.  

This is monthly scholarship and will be paid in three months.

Result will be prepared on the basis of merit of the candidates. Merit list in any case will not be less than 30% of the maximum marks, no candidate will be considered for merit securing less than 30% marks.

PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP TO SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

Payment of scholarship to candidates will be done through transfer in their bank account. All applicants are requested to have an active bank account.


Eligibility

A candidate must have passed matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

AGE LIMIT: Minimum age limit is 16 years and maximum 40 years for all candidates.

CITIZENSHIP: A Candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or 

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.


Fees

a) To appear in the scholarship exam, applicants need to pay an amount of Rs. 300 (Three hundred only) for General category applicants and Rs. 250/‐ (Two Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST candidates against the online test.

b) Applications without the prescribed payment would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

c) PAYMENT ONCE PAID SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE NOR CAN THE FEE BE HELD IN RESERVE FOR ANY OTHER EXAMINATION OR SELECTION.


Application Procedure

1. Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.medhavionline.org. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.

2. Filling of Personal Details.

3. Fee submission.

4. Submit the form after fee deposit.

5. A registration ID will be sent to the E‐mail of the candidate.

6. After submitting the Online Application (OA), the candidates are required to take snap shot of the finally submitted Online Application (OA).

7. Candidates are not required to submit to the Organization either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document.

8. The candidates are advised to submit the Online Application well in advance without waiting for the closing date.

Selection Procedure

The selection process for the scholarship will comprise of an ONLINE Test of MCQs. The structure of the Examination is as follows:

Center of examination is to be decided by the candidate. This is an ONLINE EXAMINATION and can be accessed from any Personal Computer or laptops at home or cyber café having internet connection. Therefore applicants are free to choose their location for exam as per their convenience
